Description

Professionally accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, the BSc Sport and Exercise Science degree at Cardiff Met focuses on the scientific basis of performance in sport and participation in exercise.

The main thrust of the course is based on the disciplines of sport and exercise physiology, biomechanics and psychology, with an option theme of study based on either performance analysis, sports coaching, strength and conditioning or fitness instruction and personal training.

Sport and Exercise Science Students will follow a dedicated pathway throughout the three levels that focuses on interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary aspects of Sport and Exercise Science with a high level of vocational relevance and experience.

You will be afforded many opportunities to develop your practical contextual knowledge in exercise settings, training, coaching and performance.
