We have an international reputation for our research and teaching.

We have a strong tradition of innovative pharmaceutical education, scientific research and service to the pharmacy profession. 

Our educational provision always features at the top of national league tables of excellence and in the National Student Survey, we consistently attain greater than 95% overall satisfaction from our final year MPharm students.

In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework we were ranked the joint top School of Pharmacy in the country. 

We are proud to be home to the Wales Centre for Pharmacy Professional Education, the major focus of post-qualification education and professional development for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Wales.

There are over 66 members of full-time academic and teaching staff, in addition to technical, research and administrative staff. The School has a very active undergraduate student organisation, the Welsh Pharmacy Students' Association, as well as a society for postgraduate students.

A wide ranging programme of research seminars is arranged for all staff and students. Outside visitors to these seminars are welcome.
