Description

Understanding economic concepts and policies to promote world agricultural development
With an ever-increasing world population and growing pressure on the world's finite resources, the analytical skills of agricultural economists are as relevant as ever. This degree is designed to provide you with a rigorous, stimulating and enjoyable training in applied economics and quantitative and qualitative research techniques.

This master's programme:

  • Allows you to gain an appreciation of the complex dynamic between population growth and the world's finite resources.
  • Develops your quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
  • Equips you with the skills to work as a professional agricultural economist in industry, government and non-governmental organisations.
Students have the option to specialise in a development pathway that will provide them with the specific skills needed for working in agricultural development by selecting 30 credits from specific modules.
