The BSc Geography with a Year in Industry degree at Swansea covers a range of geographical themes, including glacial environments and processes, climate change, meteorology and plate tectonics. The BSc Geography with a Year in Industry course gives you the chance to explore landscapes and how they are shaped, to interpret satellite Earth observation and GIS data and to monitor environmental changes from Space.

Subject to application, you will take your placement year after the 2nd year of your studies. During the 2nd year you will receive support from our placements team to help you prepare and make every effort to secure a placement relevant to your studies.
