The BSc Biology with a year in industry degree scheme is designed to provide a broad-spectrum understanding of the themes that run through modern biology. This is ideal for those students who wish to have a comprehensive and integrated degree scheme and gain the opportunity to undertake a relevant industrial placement. 

Subject to application, you will take your placement year after the 2nd year of your studies. During the 2nd year you will receive support from our placements team to help you prepare and make every effort to secure a sector relevant industrial placement.
