Description
This full-time MSc course has been designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and understanding to work at an advanced level, managing patient care in perioperative and anaesthesia practice.
It offers the opportunity to develop advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and to apply them to management in perioperative practice. You will have the opportunity to develop, through the process of research, advanced practical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of managing care and the ability to influence change in the field of perioperative practice.
As a full-time student, you will undertake all taught modules during one academic year. The modular structure of the programme enables you to select the most appropriate profession-specific modules and shared or generic modules from a suite of modules within the postgraduate provision of the School of Healthcare Sciences.
In order to gain the MSc in Managing Care in Perioperative and Anaesthesia Practice, students will be required to undertake a number of core and optional modules, with a final research project.
Students who proceed to successful completion of a research project and subsequent dissertation will be eligible for the award of a Master of Science degree.
