Description
The Computing for Interaction degree aims to provide students with professional and academic development in response to the needs of employers.
Students will investigate design techniques for both existing and emerging technologies. The course will foster student development in the design of computing systems from a human centric standpoint and for interaction.
Students will look at aspects of software development that include project life-cycles, budget & proposal development as well as the role of the prototype. Students will explore the practical application of production processes to develop client-centred projects.
The course also includes elements of project management for the production of interactive media.
On completion of this programme graduates will be professionally equipped to contribute significantly within multi-disciplinary teams in this area of technology that is ubiquitous in the modern digital world, applying appropriate design methods in the production of interactive software products or systems.
