Description

The objective of this course is to prime you for employment as an ecological consultant.

To achieve this, the School of Biological Sciences has teamed up with RSK to deliver a course that precisely provides the skills and knowledge demanded by consultants. Most of the 110 taught credits consist of hands-on and field-based training. In addition to the taught component, you will have the opportunity to embark on a six-month work placement with an ecological consultant. A bursary for this period is provided by the employer.

A total of 110 of the 180 credits of the course are overseen by the consultants and, consequently, this course is unique in the UK. As a result of this synergy, the current course employment rate in the ecology and ecological consultancy sectors is 100%.
